Worship Service
What to Expect
You will experience a loving church family
who will welcome you with open arms.
You will experience a loving church family who will welcome you with open arms.
Every Sunday we start our service at 10:00 am by reading from the Book of Psalms and praying together as we prepare our hearts for our corporate time of worship of our glorious God!
After prayer, we sing classic Christian hymns and contemporary worship songs in worship of our loving God and Savior.
Aarhus Bible Church is a family-integrated church.
It means that our children are part of our worship service. During our worship service, we have a special 10-minute children’s Bible lesson aimed at the children in the church. Afterward, we give them colors and paper to paint masterpieces and take notes during the sermon.
God instructs us to read the Scriptures during our worship service. So after our children’s Bible teaching, we read Scripture every Sunday, where the meeting leader introduces a particular Bible text, reads the Bible text, and prays through the Bible text.
Before the sermon, a couple of members of Aarhus Bible Church lead the congregation in a meaningful time of prayer with supplication, intercession, and thanksgiving (1 Tim 2:1-8).
Then the Word of God is preached faithfully, verse by verse, with boldness, clarity, and authority for the edification of God’s people.
After the sermon, we sing a worship song in preparation for communion.
The early church met to break bread each week (Acts 20:7). We follow the New Testament example in Aarhus Bible Church and have communion every week, remembering the death, burial, and resurrection of our Lord and Savior as we eat the bread and drink from the cup together (1 Corinthians 11:23-32).
After the service, we always have lunch and fellowship, which is open to everyone.
Remember to bring a sack lunch. You can also buy lunch right next to the church building.
You feel welcome no matter
where you are in your Christian walk.
